Every year the Foundation awards the Order of Sankt Ignatios to someone who has made a distinguished contribution to Orthodox life or theology.
Last year (2019) the Order was awarded to Fr Andrew Louth one of the world’s leading Orthodox theologians. A conference in recognition of his contribution, entitled “Contemplative Traditions – Theory and Practice” was held at Sigtuna in Sweden. The contributors were leading scholars in that field. Most of the talks and presentations were recorded and will appear on our YouTube channel.
