Bioethics and Theology (Folkhögskola)

The course will not be given during the 2021/2022 academic year.

We live in an age of rapid technological innovation, which brings with it promising advances in the field of science and medicine. These developments, however, also present us with new ethical dilemmas that require engagement and consideration from various perspectives. Based on an Orthodox Christian hermeneutics, this course will explore how a theological mindset (phronema) and discourse could contribute to approaching issues of human dignity and vulnerability within the contemporary pluralistic context of bioethics.
